Employment Issues We Handle

UAE Employment Law Cases We Win For You

Whether you're an expat employee facing dismissal or an employer dealing with a labour dispute — our Dubai employment lawyers handle every type of UAE labour and employment law matter.

Wrongful & Unfair Dismissal

Were you terminated without valid reason, notice or proper process? UAE Labour Law entitles you to compensation up to 3 months' salary for arbitrary dismissal. We file MOHRE complaints and pursue Labour Court claims.

Unpaid Salary & Wages

Your employer is legally obligated to pay your salary on time under the UAE Wage Protection System (WPS). Non-payment is a serious violation. We recover unpaid wages, commissions and bonuses quickly.

End-of-Service Gratuity

Every employee completing 1+ year of service is entitled to end-of-service gratuity under UAE Labour Law. We calculate your entitlement and pursue non-payment through MOHRE and Labour Court.

MOHRE Complaints

The Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE) handles employment disputes in the UAE. We prepare and file MOHRE complaints on your behalf and represent you throughout the process.

Visa Cancellation Disputes

Employers cannot cancel your visa as a weapon without settling all financial entitlements. We urgently intervene to protect your visa status and legal residency in the UAE.

Non-Compete & Contract Disputes

Unfair non-compete clauses, NDA breaches and employment contract disputes are increasingly common in Dubai. We review, challenge and defend non-compete agreements under UAE law.

Workplace Harassment

UAE law protects employees from workplace harassment, bullying and discrimination. We advise on your rights and take appropriate legal action to protect your dignity and career.

Employment Contract Review

Before signing any UAE employment contract, have it reviewed by a lawyer. We identify unfair clauses, missing entitlements and legal risks — protecting you before problems arise.

Employer & HR Compliance

For businesses: we help SMEs across Dubai build UAE-compliant HR policies, employment contracts and disciplinary procedures to prevent disputes before they start.

Know Your Rights

Your Employment Rights as an Expat in Dubai

UAE Federal Labour Law grants every employee — regardless of nationality — a strong set of rights. Here are the key ones expats often don't know about:

  • Notice Period Pay

You are entitled to 30–90 days notice (depending on contract) or full payment in lieu if terminated without notice.

  • End-of-Service Gratuity

21 days' basic salary per year for the first 5 years, 30 days per year thereafter. Payable upon termination or resignation.

  • Repatriation Flight

If terminated (not resigned), your employer must provide or pay for a repatriation flight to your home country.

  • Annual Leave Pay

Any unused annual leave must be paid out on termination — calculated on basic salary basis.

  • Arbitrary Dismissal Compensation

If terminated without valid reason, you can claim up to 3 months' total salary as compensation for arbitrary dismissal.
